But to give you piece of mind, we recommend that you make sure you understand everything there is to know about seat reservations and supplements on trains in the United Kingdom before you travel.

International trains: With your InterRail Pass you can receive a special discounted fare for travel on Eurostar trains to France and Belgium (subject to availability). Please check www.eurostar.com for the latest fares.

Overnight trains: It is advisable to make reservations for any overnight train journey before you travel.

- Domestic trains: Reservations are generally not required for domestic trains in the United Kingdom.

We would also recommend reservations if you intend to travel out of London on Friday or Sunday evenings.
