But to give you piece of mind, we recommend that you make sure you understand everything there is to know about seat reservations and supplements on trains in Poland before you travel.

Ekspres (Ex): Reservations are compulsory on these express trains.

EuroCity (EC): Reservations on domestic routes of these International high standard trains are compulsory.

Ekspres InterCity (EIC, EkspresIC): Reservations are required on these domestic high standard trains.

Tanie Linie Kolejowe (TLK): 1st class passengers for these fast trains will need to make a reservation.
